Blown Glass
These pieces feature a crosshatch pattern of fine, threadlike glass canes in many different shades of color. The pattern is suspended by a thick layer of crystal, giving the work its unique optical characteristics. Made using laborious caneworking techniques, each piece is composed of about five hundred threads. |
