Optic Bowls

An opaline glass bowl featuring a reticello made up of fine black cane.

Blown, Cut, and Polished Glass

Blown using traditional Venetian glassblowing techniques of caneworking and murrini, the pattern in the inside of the bowls is suspended in a thick layer of crystal.

After cooling, the pieces are carved to shape and the surface finely polished to give the bowls their unique optical qualities.
