These pieces are made with traditional Italian glassblowing techniques, creating a layer of colored murrini suspended in thick, clear glass.
After cooling, the piece is then ground to shape while being turned on its center axis, a process similar to wood turning. The surface is then finely polished, giving the bowl its unique optical qualities. |
