Blown, Cut, and Polished Glass
Blown using traditional Venetian glassblowing techniques, the murrini pattern in the inside of the bowl is suspended in a thick layer of crystal, giving the piece its unique optical qualities.
After cooling, the piece is carved to an oblate shape while being turned on its center axis in a process similar to woodturning.
