Blown Glass
The flowing ripples of these vases are the result of a novel, “controlled chaos” approach to glass blowing. The glass is first blown into a large bubble and then quickly elongated using centrifugal force. The sudden stretching naturally causes ripples to form in the thin and still pliable hot glass. These vessels generally appear a faint, milky white, but can display a range of subtle colors from ghostly blue to pale amber, depending on the lighting environment. Each piece is unique, and dimensions will vary slightly. Sold individually or as a set of three.
