Made using the traditional Venetian glassblowing technique of caneworking, layers of indigo glass threads are suspended within a thick layer of crystal, then encased in a thin veil of cream colored glass.
​After cooling, the outside of the piece is etched and the top surface is ground flat and finely polished, creating a window through which the piece's fine details emerge.
